A man has been charged with harassment and stalking near Taylor Swift's home.

People reported seeing a guy "acting erratically" near the singer's home.

Police told HuffPost that a guy was detained and charged with harassment and stalking after others noticed him "acting erratically" near Taylor Swift's Tribeca home.

People saw a "emotionally disturbed male," who was "acting erratically" near Swift's alleged New York home.

Crowe was arrested on Monday and charged with two charges of harassment and two counts of stalking.

Taylor has been the subject of several stalkers throughout the years.

In 2022, a guy was accused with stalking and criminal trespassing for entering Taylor's Tribeca residence. Last year, a lady was detained outside Taylor's Rhode Island house after being warned to keep away. Another guy was detained at the same Rhode Island residence in 2019 for allegedly possessing burglary tools. In 2019, a guy pleaded guilty to criminal contempt and attempted burglary for breaking into Taylor's New York house and taking a sleep there.

Taylor has often spoken out about her alleged stalkers and her safety.

In a 2012 Vogue story, she stated that she requires protection "because there's a file of stalkers who want to take me home and chain me to a pipe in their basement". In a 2019 Elle column, she revealed that she carries QuikClot army-grade bandage treatment for gunshot and stab wounds.

"Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I've ever had online," Taylor said in a statement.

"When you have enough stalkers attempting to get into your home, you begin to prepare for the worst. Every day, I try to remind myself of the good in the world, the love I've observed, and my belief in mankind. To genuinely feel alive, we must live fearlessly, which means not allowing our worst anxieties to govern us.
