Nicole Kidman posed with a black snake in a stunning photo shoot for Australian Vogue.

The 56-year-old actress showed off her stunning figure in a black lace dress with the snake wrapped around her neck as a cover.

Nicole wrapped her hand around the snake and posed for the camera in the adorable photo, according to what the website reportedThe Sun.

In another photo, the Moulin Rouge star wore a latex crop top and pencil skirt.

She revealed in the accompanying interview that taking a photo with the snake was her idea because she "loves it."

"I think snakes are very beautiful," the Australian actress admitted. She said she finds them "alluring" and is fascinated by the way snakes "slide and move and shed their skin."

In another part of the interview, Nicole confirmed that she will be filming a third season for her hit show Big Little Lies.

The newcomer actress first hinted at Season 3 during a Q&A session in November.

She admitted to Vogue that she and director Reese Witherspoon are "very close" and have often talked about doing another season.

“We live in the same city five minutes away from each other and spend a lot of time together outside of work,” she added. “We always said: We can do this, we can do that!”

Nicole thanked her 15-year-old daughter for inspiring her to keep going for another season.

“She has a very good understanding of things and life, so she would hold my hand and encourage me through that work,” Nicole said.

Reflecting on her loved ones, Nicole admitted: “I try to keep a shield around me... In addition to being a lover, I am a mother, I am a daughter, I am a sister, I am an aunt, I am a best friend.”

"I can still have a very real and tangible life, one in which I explore every part of this journey," she continued.
