“I felt insulted” was the first response from former US President Donald Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s preference for Joe Biden for the presidency of America.

In statements he made today, Thursday, Trump said that he initially felt insulted when Putin chose Biden instead of the former US president when asked who his country preferred as president of the United States.

The Republican candidate in the US presidential race also considered that his archrival, Biden, had provided an invaluable gift to Putin, namely Ukraine. He believed that it was natural for the master of the Kremlin to prefer the current US president over him, stressing that he was the only president who had not offered anything to Russia.

He is a traditional, old-school politician," unlike Trump.

But he expressed his readiness to deal with whoever wins the US presidential elections scheduled for next November.

Trump often praised the intelligence of the Russian President during his recent election statements and even before that as well. While some Democrats accused him of being close to the Kremlin master and even colluding with him during the previous presidential elections,
