Washington, February 12 (QNA): Microsoft is testing a number of new features and options in Windows 11, including a new option that contributes

In raising the quality of games on computers.

According to what was observed in the latest beta version of Windows 11, Microsoft has added the (Automatic Ultra-Resolution) option in the system settings, an option that Microsoft describes as (using artificial intelligence in order to make supported games run smoothly with improved details.

Some graphics cards in computers currently support image quality-raising techniques based on artificial intelligence, such as DLSS technology from Nvidia, FSR technology from AMD, and XeSS technology from Intel.

The new option is expected to contribute to improving the gaming experience on computers running Windows 11, but it is expected that this option will only be available on new computers.

The new option may require special hardware in computers, such as a neural processing unit (NPU) or processor cores specialized in processing artificial intelligence, such as the new Intel Core Ultra processors.

The technology for raising image quality relies on using smart algorithms to analyze the original image, determine its characteristics such as edges, colors, and details, then add new pixels to increase the image resolution while preserving its characteristics as much as possible, which works to improve the image quality when playing games.

Microsoft is expected to reveal more details about the (automatic high quality) option and the games that it supports in the coming times.
